The Self-Authorship Intensive™

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
Howard Thurman
Imagine the freedom of a life that finally feels fully aligned, deeply fulfilling, and unmistakably your own.
The Self-Authorship Intensive™ is a premium program for accomplished professionals who no longer feel aligned with the life they've built. Through four months of private coaching, structured exercises, and ongoing support, you'll stop spinning in uncertainty and start moving forward with clarity, purpose, and conviction to begin building your next chapter.
From The Outside, Your Life Looks Successful.
But lately, something doesn't fit the way it used to.
And when you only get one life, ignoring that feeling comes at a cost.
Why Most High Achievers Stay Stuck
When something feels off, most people try to fix it by pushing through and working harder. For high achievers, the challenge runs deeper. The more you've invested in a path, the harder it can be to change directions, even when you know something no longer fits.

Selection & Enrollment
The Self-Authorship Intensive™ is not a traditional coaching engagement. It is a highly personalized, high-touch program that combines a proprietary methodology, structured frameworks, between-session support, and five years of built-in accountability to help you consciously author your next chapter.
Enrollment generally opens three times per year and is limited to three clients per cycle. Participation is by application only, beginning with a written application followed by an in-depth conversation with Holly explore where you find yourself in this season of life. Because mutual alignment matters more than filling spaces, not all applicants will be invited to participate. If another path would be better suited for you, Holly will recommend it openly and honestly.
Investment
This program is designed for individuals who are ready to make a meaningful, strategic investment in themselves and their future. Investment details are shared with individuals who are invited to participate.
The Cost of Waiting
It's easy to assume you'll figure it out later. After the current project. After the next promotion. After things settle down. But important and complex questions rarely resolve themselves. While you wait, here's what happens:
Another year pursuing goals that no longer matter.
Five more years spent climbing a ladder only to discover it's leaning against the wrong wall.
Another decade investing energy in a life that no longer fits.
More decisions made by habit than by conscious choice.
Success that looks better than it feels.
What Happens When You Take Back The Pen
The individuals who inspired this program come from different professions, industries, and stages of life. What they had in common was a willingness to pause when something no longer felt right and ask the question: "Is this still the life I want?"
A tenured professor who chose a more aligned path outside academia.
A finance professional who walked away from a well compensated position to build something of his own.
A registered nurse who returned to medical school at mid-life and created an entirely new future.
Their stories are different. What connects them is the courage to pick up the pen and write their next chapter on their own terms.
Who Is Holding Your Pen?
The question is not whether your story is being written. It is.
The question is whether you're still the one holding the pen.
One day, this season of your life will be part of your story.
You'll look back on the choices you made, the risks you took, and the person you became.
My hope is that you can look back and say that when something no longer fit, you paid attention. That you trusted yourself enough to ask difficult questions. And that you had the courage to pick up the pen and author what came next.
FAQs
What makes this different from traditional coaching?
Many coaching programs emphasize goal achievement, performance, productivity, or navigating day-to-day challenges. Self-Authorship begins with a different question: Are the goals themselves still aligned with who you are and who you're becoming?
Before optimizing your life, we ensure you're building the right one.
How much time should I expect to commit?
Beyond the coaching sessions themselves, it is recommended to dedicate about an hour per week on reflection exercises, readings, and integrating insights into daily life.
The experience is designed to fit alongside demanding professional and personal commitments. It is also highly scalable to occupy more or less space in your life depending on your availability.
Is this a significant financial investment?
Yes. This is an exclusive, highly personalized experience designed for individuals who are prepared to invest meaningfully in their personal and professional growth. It is a strategic investment that reflects and reinforces each client’s commitment to their future, ensuring they fully engage in the transformational process. Investment details are shared during the invitation process.
Is this career coaching?
No. The Self-Authorship Intensive™ is a life-design program for successful professionals who are re-evaluating what success means in the next chapter of their lives.
This program pulls from multiple practices and philosophies, creating an entirely unique experience not found elsewhere. While career decisions often emerge during the process, The Self-Authorship Intensive™ addresses a deeper question: How do you want to live?
What makes this different from therapy?
Therapy often focuses on healing, mental health, and understanding the past.
The Self-Authorship Intensive™ focuses on helping you intentionally design the future. While we may examine past experiences and patterns, our attention is directed toward creating greater clarity, agency, and alignment moving forward. Read more about coaching here.
What kinds of people participate in this program?
Most participants are accomplished professionals, including executives, academics, physicians, attorneys, entrepreneurs, and leaders across a variety of industries.
What they share is not a profession but a desire to live more intentionally and create a life that feels aligned with who they have become.
Do I need to be considering a major life or career change?
No.
Some clients enter the program while navigating significant transitions. Others simply sense that something no longer fits and want greater clarity about what comes next.
The work is valuable whether you're making a major change or seeking a deeper sense of alignment within your current life and career.
What if I don't know what I want yet?
That's exactly what this program is designed to help uncover. It was crafted for individuals who know something needs to change but aren't yet sure what they want or where to start.
How do I know if this is the right fit?
The application process is intentionally designed to answer that question. Every prospective participant completes a written application and a conversation with Holly. Together, we'll determine whether The Self-Authorship Intensive™ is the best next step for you.
Are the coaching sessions all virtual?
Yes. However, if you are based in Austin, TX you may request to have in-person sessions included in your program.
